And eventually, we made our way to Glacier National Park. The Going to the Sun Road wasn’t open all the way yet, but we drove what we could and without reservation. Got to stay at the Many Glacier campground without any reservations! Mary saw the first moose of the trip. There was snow and there were bears and goats romping on the mountainside, looking for all the world like little bouncing dots. So it was a good first introduction to Glacier.
