Visited a friend on Whidbey Island, Washington and saw a strange tree, and rode our last ferry. There was a long bridge to Mt St Helens. Thewe visited Mary’s sister in Oregon, and heading back to Oklahoma the long way we traveled through the mid-Oregon desert, visiting three units of the John Day Fossil Beds National Monument.
